Maren has worked from 2001 to 2004 as a musical director, theatre musician and composer for the theatre company Arts in Motion in Scotland and she was employed as a theatre musician specialised in Middle Eastern wind instruments for the theatre show Oriental Destiny in Bath Spa in 2008 and the Arabian Night Show at the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford upon Avon in 2009 to 2010.
